Toddler Room Servants Needed!

We continue to need volunteers to support this effort during the 9:00, 10:00 and 11:00 hours on Sunday mornings. If you feel called to participate in this meaningful and rewarding endeavor, you are invited to sign up for an hour some Sunday. We really need servants for the 10:00am hour!!

Kidz Konnection Help Needed!

This very special “connective” program designed for our youth, both boys and girls who are in K through 4th grade, has been suspended for some time. Years ago this age group enjoyed what was called “Wacky Wednesdays” to meet for fun and fellowship every Wednesday after school. The name was changed to “Kids Konnection” a while back, meeting only quarterly on a Sunday afternoon, which combined fun and fellowship along with a service project shared with the membership of an adult group.

The Commission on Education is hoping to re-establish this program and is seeking a leader (or leadership team) to once again “konnect” this precious age group. To assist the new leadership, the past history of activities is available for review and the meeting schedule for this group may be determined by the new leader.

Needed: Wednesday evening Helpers

Our Wednesday Night Life program offers many great opportunities to volunteer your time and talents!

Alpha, led by Carolyn Lingenfelter, will be looking for table leaders & helpers for the fall program; If you feel you can serve as a table leader or helper, contact Carolyn.

Dave Martin heads a youth program on Wednesday nights. See him for more details.

Intercessory Prayer meets in the Chapel every Wednesday night at 6:45.

There is also a need for assistance in setting up, serving and cleaning up after the meal. See Judy Yackin for more information.

In order to allow families to participate in these events, there is a need for child care helpers. See Kris Knotts if you can help even one Wednesday a month.

Help us make L.I.F.E. more rich and meaningful for everyone.

Yarn Donations

Our Prayer Shawl Ministry is asking for yarn donations. They continue to make prayer shawls to be given out to those who are sick or shut-in.

If you have any yarn lying around your house that you are not using, please bring it to church where it will be put to good use.

AED - Automatic Electric Defibulator

The Trustees are currently looking into the idea of purchasing an AED, an Automatic Electric Defibulator. Defibulators are becoming popular across the nation and for good reason, the save lives!

Along with the purchase of an AED comes a minimal amount of training that would be beneficial not only for here but for home as well. Consider being part of the team as we explore the idea of purchasing an Automatic Electric Defibulator.
