You have reached the cyber home of Willoughby United Methodist Church. We're glad you stopped by. WUMC has been faithful to the call of being God's people since 1818.

For those many years Willoughby Methodists have been making, maturing, and ministering to disciples of Jesus Christ and mobilizing them to share God's love with the world. We have inherited this legacy. We want to pass it on.

If you are in the area, please stop in for a visit. You will receive a warm welcome. Be sure to let us know that you received this invitation through our website.

Connection Groups

Connection Groups of 8-10 people are forming that will meet at a variety of times and places to discuss each week’s message. During these informal gatherings, groups will dive deeper into Pastor Don’s sermon and scripture. Enthusiastic leaders have volunteered to guide the discussions that will include questions provided by Pastor Don as well as those raised by members of the group. Participating in a Connection Group can be a great way to ask questions, explore the message more deeply, and consider how it relates to your life. You will also meet new friends, share some laughs and good times together, and grow closer to God. Everyone is invited, so we encourage you to invite your friends, neighbors, and co-workers to participate. Check the Broadcaster, website, and the church bulletin for the days and times that Connection Groups will be meeting. To sign up or get more information, fill out the back of the connection card in your bulletin. You can also call Lisa Richards (440-773-4300) or Carolyn Lingenfelter (440-479-5978), the coordinators, if you have questions.

Fall Connection Groups will begin the week of September 21st.  As a church family, we will be discussing "6 Things We Should Know About God".

Seeking Servants to Help!

We know what an important ministry this is to both the smallest of our church family and their parents.  We have graduated many of our Toddler Room volunteers to college, new jobs and new locations.   So as they say in football, we are in a rebuilding year and are seeking refreshed volunteers to help this ministry soar. We need new volunteers to be the hands and feet of Christ with the smallest of His children.

We want to provide childcare for children 4 years old and younger during our variety of worship services and classes.  I do offer training specifically for the Toddler Room so that our children and families can have a consistent experience through a variety of care givers.  You will not be alone, we have 2 people in the toddler room for each shift as stated by our Child Protection guidelines.

Please click the button below to register to serve as the Hands and Feet of Christ with our youngest generation.
